Our Small Groups
Periodically throughout the year, Pastor Mary Beth and Elder George Bradlau facilitate a conversation about a work of literature. In the early summer of 2022, we offered a discussion around Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird. In the fall of 2022, we read and discussed Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury. Our next session will begin on Thursday, April 20, 2023! Stay tuned for the book...!
All are welcome to join, whether or not you are an official member of the church. Joining this group is a wonderful way to get to know folks in the church in a more intimate setting. We meet on Thursday evenings, from 6:00pm-7:30pm.
You don’t have to be a literature expert, either! For more information, please email George Bradlau at email@example.com.
Women’s Bible Study
This lively group of women meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 12:00 pm in the Church Resource Room. The group explores stories in scripture using a timely and accessible curriculum published by Presbyterian Women. In 2023, we are studying Eugenia Gamble's excellent reflection on the Ten Commandments: "Love Carved in Stone." For more information, please email Lisa at Lisa_a_gray@outlook.com.
Elders Katie Rienzo and Abbie Conlon, along with Pastor Mary Beth, are thrilled to offer a poetry group for our church and community during the season of Lent 2023. We will cover themes such as grief, love, redemption, doubt/faith, beauty, and identity. We will meet every Thursday during the month of March (March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 3) from 6:30pm to 7:25pm. Each session stands on its own, so come to 1, 2 or more!! This is a class for beginners, so no expertise expected! OPEN TO THE WHOLE COMMUNITY! INVITE YOUR FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS!!! Questions? Please email Mary Beth at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you prefer images over words? If so, there’s a place for you! Our painting group meets every Tuesday at 10:00am. We have experts to beginners… all are welcome! Join us! Want to learn more? Please email Kathleen at email@example.com.
