Our Small Groups
Book Club
Periodically throughout the year, Elder George Bradlau and Pastor Mary Beth facilitate a conversation about a work of literature. Past books include Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451, and Maya Angelou's I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings. Beginning September 28 2023, we are thrilled to read together Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn.
All are welcome to join in the fun, whether or not you are an official member of the church! Joining this group is a wonderful way to get to know folks in the church in a more intimate setting. We meet on Thursday evenings, from 6:00pm-7:30pm.
You don’t have to be a literature expert, either! For more information, please email George Bradlau at gbradlau@thebradlaugroup.com.

Women’s Bible Study
This lively group of women meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 12:00 pm in the Church Resource Room. The group explores stories in scripture using a timely and accessible curriculum published by Presbyterian Women. In 2023, we are studying Eugenia Gamble's excellent reflection on the Ten Commandments: "Love Carved in Stone." For more information, please email Lisa at Lisa_a_gray@outlook.com.
Poetry Group
Elders Katie Rienzo and Abbie Conlon, along with Pastor Mary Beth, were thrilled to offer a poetry group for our church and community during the season of Lent 2023 (the Thursdays of March 2-30, from 6:30 to 7:30pm). Over the month, we covered themes such as grief, love, redemption, doubt/faith, beauty, and identity. We plan on offering poetry again in the future, as the group was a beautiful way to explore our faith and grow as a community of believers (and sometimes, doubters!). Stay tuned!! Questions? Please email Mary Beth at pastormarybeth@gmail.com.

Painting Group
Do you prefer images over words? If so, there’s a place for you! Our painting group meets every Tuesday at 10:00am. We have experts to beginners… all are welcome! Join us! Want to learn more? Please email Kathleen at oldgreenwich@ogpc.org.
Advent Small Group
During the season of Advent (the weeks before Christmas), our church offers a weekly small group experience that includes prayer, time with scripture, and a delve into themes of the season. All are welcome to join, whether or not an official member of the church. Please contact Mary Beth at pastormarybeth@gmail.com if you’d like to learn more.
