Our Small Groups
Book Club: We Read Banned Books!
Periodically throughout the year, Elder George Bradlau and Pastor Mary Beth facilitate a conversation about a banned work of literature. Past books include Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird, Maya Angelou's I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings, and Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn.
All are welcome to join, whether or not you are an official member of the church! Joining this group is a wonderful way to get to know folks in the church in a more intimate setting. We usually have a fall and spring session and meet on Thursday evenings, from 6:00pm-7:30pm.
You don’t have to be a literature expert, either! For more information, please email George Bradlau at gbradlau@thebradlaugroup.com.
Women’s Bible Study
This lively group of women meets monthly to explore stories in scripture using a timely and accessible curriculum published by Presbyterian Women. For more information, please email Lisa at Lisa_a_gray@outlook.com.
Watercolor Fellowship Group
Do you prefer images over words? If so, there’s a place for you! Our painting group meets every Tuesday at 10:00am. We have experts to beginners… all are welcome! Join us! Want to learn more? Please email Katie at oldgreenwich@ogpc.org.
Small Group Bible Studies
Throughout the year, we offer small group Bible studies on a variety of topics. Past studies have focused on the book of Revelation, challenging questions that the Bible poses, and Advent studies to remind ourselves to slow down in preparation for the birth of our Savior.
These studies include prayer, time with scripture, and a delve into themes of the season. All are welcome to join, whether or not an official member of the church. Please contact pastormarybeth@gmail.com.
